Can my 2mth old baby have a flu shot for Influenza A?

Can my 2mth old baby have a flu shot for influenz A? I have an 11yr old daughter aswell who brings alot of colds and illnesses home from school and want to protect them both from this deadly outbreak – I live in QLD.

Follow your children’s pediatrician’s advice regarding vaccinations. Do not deviate from that. Some vaccines can be given early, others must wait until the child is older.

I think your 2 month old is too young for that but you would need to contact the doctor.
