Another swine flu question sorry?

I have heard on the news that swine flu will be in britain for up to five years and 1/3 people may get it I am really scared is this dangerous and what about vaccines and all. Sorry for asking more questions

There will be a vaccine which comes out next month in time for the more virulent strain of the virus in the autumn. We are all in the same boat, worrying won’t make it go away.

For the vast majority of people, the H1N1 strain will pose no threat to health and the vast majority of people have and will make a full recovery without any complications. Influenza A is only really a risk for people with severe health problems.

It’s not something we should be panicking over, it’s just something we need to be aware of.

Worldwide and UK data suggests the swine flu death rate is 0.5 or 0.4%. One good thing about this strain of flu is that research suggests that the Swine Flu Virus attacks the respiratory system in a more sustained way than the standard seasonal flu virus.
