When you get the Influenza virus, why does it cause dehydration and loose stools ?
I’m not talking about the stomach flu.. but why do you get dyhydrated like so ?
The influenza virus does not cause loose motions. But there are other common viruses which can cause flu like symptoms and diarrhea.
With influenza you may have nausea and vomiting.
Further in very young children there may be diarrhea with influenza. This is not a drect action due to the virus
There is always a very bad drainage smell coming from the shower of the flat I am renting. The shower from the flat above leaked through into ours via an extractor fan but a workman came and sealed the tiles upstairs to stop this.
I have a feeling mould could be biulding up between the 2 flats where the water was leaking through. I am also having flu like symptoms which are on and off for well over a month. What is the best way to find out whether there are mould spores in the air? ie list of companies to contact or kits to test with?
I am in the UK and all info I find is from the USA. Thanks!
sorry to point out but youre being a drama queen, unless you can see visible damage then dont worry. if youre worried then keep a window open to dissapate said spores, youre fine, its in your head…if not try changing your duvet
My daughter has been diagnosed with a type of a person told me it was the same as H1N1. The doctor never told me anything, but I'm always curious …. I'm not worried about it. This is Tamiflu. The person who asks is told that he panicked a bit and I still do not want to panic everyone in our neighborhood out;-P
itself is a type Of Swine Flu. not as bad as it sounds. is likely to be out of school now for 7 days of taking Tamiflu. , Is going to live do not worry, it's a common cold:)
SECRETARY OF STATE HILLARY CLINTON COMMENTS ON H1n1 TYPE A SWINE INFLUENZA UNTIL MSNBC CUTS HER OFF
can a 88 years old patient get swine flu without fever if he is known asthmatic and had a respiratory arrest?
This patient who had status asthmaticus was admitted to ICU and had contact with swine flu patient had respiratory arrest now he is on mechanical ventilator and had resistant hypoxia a physician suggested that he might have swine flu
“can a 88 years old patient get swine flu without fever if he is known asthmatic and had a respiratory arrest?” — Swine flu is for pigs. People get novel H1n1 Flu. Anyone can have afebrile infection, concurrent conditions notwithstanding.
Is that all you wanted to ask? No other questions???? Well here’s some info for you to think about.
Sure a doctor suggested novel H1N1 flu. Doctors suggest a lot things to rule out. But just having had contact with some one with novel H1N1 flu is not a guarantee that viral transmission will take or has taken place. Status asthmaticus in and of itself will progress to respiratory arrest if not treated quickly. Is the asthma now controlled? How are lung sounds? Was the patient trached or ET’d? What are the average SpO2s? What are the vent settings?? Is the hypoxia causing drug resistance? Was a sputum c/s run? God, I’d love to have all my questions answered but that has never happened!
